Compass is currently recruiting for the position of Social Media Strategist located in Dallas, TX. Join us on this exciting expedition and become an integral part of our mission to redefine the datacenter landscape.

As Social Media Strategist you’ll be responsible for managing and growing our brand's presence across social networks. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll develop B2B social media campaigns to achieve corporate marketing goals. Acting as the voice of the brand across social channels, you’ll post content, interact with followers, manage community feedback, and lead advocacy and community engagement initiatives. There's a lot of responsibility, but plenty of opportunity for growing your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies in line with brand values, personality, culture and objectives.
  • Brainstorm content ideas and curate and manage high-quality content as is laid out in the editorial calendar for posting across all platforms.
  • Create and oversee social campaigns. Produce content that is consistent across platforms.
  • Track the performance of posts, monitor engagement levels.
  • Engage with the community and respond to comments, questions, complaints, and praise in a timely manner.
  • Social listening and monitoring.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in all social media messages.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
  • Build relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends and social media best practices.
  • Measure and report on the community performance, feedback, and insights identify and implement opportunities for improvement, innovation, and growth.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Creativity.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management for brands.
  • Technical understanding and experience using social media management tools (e.g., Meltwater, Hootsuite).
  • Understanding of owned, paid and earned.
  • Ability to identify, track and interpret relevant social metrics.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B2B and tech experience.
  • Proficient in using content creation tools like Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • An ability to understand and use data to inform decisions and strategies.
